The Opportunity

About Us

Greater is building the operating system for wholesale distribution — the $2T+ a year US economy that moves food, beverage, and other non-durable goods from suppliers to the businesses that sell them. It's an industry that still runs largely on paper.

Greater's platform uses AI and machine learning to make the most profitable decision for every item, account, rep, truck, and route in real time. In its first 18 months live, it's already managing ~$3B of inventory across 15 enterprise clients and cutting out-of-stocks 87%. Underneath are "world models": where LLMs generate output from language, a world model is a digital twin of a physical business — a warehouse, a fleet of trucks, an entire operation — making live decisions on real flows, not static output.

Highlights

A Repeat Founder Who Knows the Space

Nick Rellas founded and scaled Drizly (acquired by Uber for $1.1B) — a decade spent selling into and around beverage distributors.

A Proven Team With a Track Record

The COO and Head of Engineering built Drizly with Nick; the CTO led logistics engineering at Instacart. This team knows each other.

Own the Customer-Facing Product

The mobile app reps use every day, the web portal, and the manager portal — yours end to end, from onboarding to what ships next.

A Real AI Product, Not a Wrapper

The AI engine and its world models are live, managing ~$3B of inventory across 15 enterprise clients 18 months after launch.

Massive Market Opportunity

Wholesale distribution moves $2T+ a year and still runs on paper.

$25M Raised, Backed by Operators

$25M raised before even a Series A. Grupo Bimbo — the world's largest baker (Sara Lee, Entenmann's, Thomas') — is a strategic investor.

Candidate

Is This You?

A product manager who measures success by whether users actually adopt what you build and what it earned the customer — not whether it shipped. You've built for traditional, non-technical businesses, honed your craft at a bigger company, and want real ownership at a smaller one.

Your Mission

Own Greater's customer-facing product end to end: the mobile app distributor reps use to count inventory and place orders, the web portal behind it, and the manager portal where distributor leaders run their teams. You own the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding new distributors to prioritizing what engineering builds next.

What you'll get to do

  • Own the Ordering Workflow: Drive the roadmap for the mobile app and web portal reps use every day: order entry, in-store workflow, task flow.
  • Cut Friction Everywhere: Reduce the seconds it takes to count a SKU, enter an order, or complete a task. Greater's tooling already unlocks 28%+ more selling time for reps.
  • Build for Behavior Change: Ship product that gets reps and managers to actually adopt new workflows, not just tolerate them.
  • Make Onboarding Fast: Compress new-customer onboarding from weeks to days as Greater brings on ~10 new customers in the next year.

What we're looking for

  • Impact-Obsessed: You lead with the business result your product drove — revenue for the distributor, hours saved for the rep.
  • B2B to Traditional Businesses: You've built for non-technical business users — distributors, retailers, restaurants, field teams — not one tech company selling to another.
  • Consumer-Grade Product Craft: Strong UX and workflow instincts. Instacart, Toast, and similar consumer/field-ops products are the right shape of experience.
  • Genuine User Empathy: Comfortable getting into the details of how a rep in a warehouse or store actually uses the product.
  • Self-Starter: You build your own roadmap and run with real autonomy from day one, partnering with an engineering team that moves fast.
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity: Early-stage environment, evolving product.

Bonus Points

  • Wholesale distribution, CPG, grocery, or field-operations domain experience
  • Early-stage experience: you've shipped product without a big org behind you
  • Analytics or data-science roots — the platform is ML-driven, and data fluency goes a long way here
