The Opportunity

About Us

Twingate is building the modern zero trust network access platform that makes legacy corporate VPNs obsolete. Instead of routing all traffic through a centralized gateway, Twingate provides direct, encrypted connections to specific resources based on user identity and device posture. Customers deploy globally in as little as 15 minutes with no hardware required.

The company serves a technical buyer persona: engineering managers, DevOps engineers, and security teams who need to secure access to cloud, SaaS, and on-prem resources for distributed workforces. Twingate integrates with identity providers like Okta, supports Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Kubernetes operator), and has expanded into browser security and internet security (DNS filtering).

Twingate is ~80 people, fully remote across the US with a small office in Palo Alto. Engineering has 20-25 people in the US, with additional engineers in Israel focused on analytics and integrations.

Highlights

Replacing the Corporate VPN

Twingate is building the modern zero trust network access platform that makes legacy VPNs obsolete. Software-only deployment, consumer-grade UX, enterprise-grade security.

Dropbox DNA

All three co-founders came from Dropbox. CEO was Head of International & New Markets, CPO was the first enterprise hire. Backed by Dropbox founders Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi.

Own a Product Line

You'd own the Privileged Access product end-to-end. Launched last year, growing from 1-to-10, with an open source Kubernetes access gateway already in market.

$59M Raised

Backed by BOND, WndrCo, 8VC, SignalFire, and Dropbox founders. Small team, big ambitions.

Enterprise Customers

Blend, Modern Health, Hi-Rez Studios, H2O.ai, and a growing list of companies replacing their VPNs with Twingate.

Open Source Foundation

The Kubernetes access gateway is open source on GitHub — real technology that engineers can evaluate, not just a marketing pitch.

Candidate

Is This You?

You're a product manager who can go broad and deep on highly technical products. You combine strong PM fundamentals with real technical fluency in areas like DevOps, security, or infrastructure tooling. You don't just gather requirements and hand them to engineering. You partner with engineers on technical decisions and can hold your own in conversations about SSH, Kubernetes, network protocols, and access controls.

Your Mission

Own the Privileged Access product and take it from 1-to-10. This product launched last year and provides deeper visibility into connections to resources like Kubernetes clusters and SSH servers. It sits at the application layer (L7), going beyond Twingate's core network layer (L4) product. Adoption has been slow, and your job is to unlock product-market fit and drive significant growth.

What you'll get to do

  • Set the Vision: Define and own the 6-12 month roadmap for Privileged Access. Figure out what Twingate's path looks like in a space where competitors like CyberArk and BeyondTrust have started to pave the way, but nobody has won yet.
  • Drive Product-Market Fit: Work directly with enterprise customers and admins to understand their workflows, pain points, and what would make them deploy this across their entire organization.
  • Go Deep Technically: Partner with engineering on technical architecture decisions. Understand the difference between L4 and L7 access controls, how Kubernetes operators work, and what it takes to secure Privileged Access at scale.
  • Own the Business Outcome: Work with go-to-market, marketing, and sales to drive adoption and revenue. This is building a business within a business.

What we're looking for

  • 5-7 Years PM Experience: In B2B SaaS, ideally with technical products serving engineering or DevOps personas.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to understand and have informed perspectives on technical decisions. Comfortable with networking, security, or DevOps concepts. You don't need to code, but you need to partner deeply with engineering.
  • First Principles Thinker: You synthesize customer input into something better than what they asked for, rather than just building the feature list.
  • Customer-Facing: Comfortable representing the product to enterprise customers and prospects. Can articulate a compelling vision.
  • Generalist Mindset: Able to work across platforms, frontend and backend, and ramp quickly on new technical areas.

Bonus Points

  • Security and networking experience (CASB/DLP, DNS, zero trust, MDM/EDR)
  • DevOps tooling experience (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with mid-size and enterprise customers
  • Home lab tinkerer who runs their own network security setup
